Sendzimir zinc treatment is method of surface treatment of steel
sheet rolled cold which proceeds to zinc dipping bath. This tech-
nology creates consistent layer of zinc between 235 and 275 g/m
2
,
which calculated means cca 17–23 microns.

By technology of galvanic zinc treatment films of electrolytically ex-
luded zinc of thickness of 12 – 15 microns are created. Films cre-
ated with this technology are shiny and resemble chrome coating.
To increase corrosion resistance of zinc film, chromating substance
in blue shade is used. Neither colour nor shade affect the quality of
the zinc layer.
It is possible to add final treatment with sealing varnish Aquares
which increases corrosion and abrasion upon request.

Zinc dipped treatment is a special technology by submergining. Zinc
creates firm and impervious film with long-term lifespan which pro-
tects the steel also electrochemically. Unlike other surface treat-
ments there is not only a film of zinc on steel but there are also in-
termetallic phases of zinc and iron with high firmness and abrasion
resistance. Thickness of created layer is 50 – 60 microns.
Trays with zinc dipped treatment manifest oxidation in time which
results in the zinc surface becoming dull. This phenomenon is not
considered a flaw in the treatment of trays and is not any reason for
warranty claim.

is surface treatment characteristic for its silver-gray surface de-
veloped for anti-corrosive protection of connecting elements. Even
in very thin layer (5 – 7 mocrons) it reaches high corrosion resist-
ance. Surfaces with this treatment withstand more than 600 hours
in salt chambre which is 3-times as much as it usually is achieved
by galvanic zinc treatment. Geomet is widely applied for example in
automibile industry where it meets its strict technical requirements.
Despite of long lifespan and high resistance of zinc treatment, so
called natural loss of zinc manifests itself depending on environ-
ment. Therefore it is necessary to take into account type of envi-
ronment and reqiured lifespan when choosing the type of surface
treatment of cable track.

Austentic chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 has overall excellent
resistance against corrosion, especially atmospheric and soil. It may
be plished very well. It has excellent tensibility when cold and may be
polished well. Its workability is worsened, because it stiffens when cold.
It may be subjected to temperatures up to 350 °C in long terms. It is
used in food-processing industry (meat-processing, dairy, brewery), in
chemical industry (enviroment of oxidizing nature), in health care etc.
Warranty for surface treatment
We provide warranty against surface corrosion, on welds and mate-
rial for cable trays LINEAR. Warranty is limited only to installation of
tray LINEAR in corresponding environments.

Stocking conditions
Cable trays LINEAR and their accessories must be stocked in dry
inagressive environment, stockrooms do not need to be tempered.
They must be protected against mechanical damaging. Maximum
stocking height of trays of same size may be up to 2.5 meters pre-
suming crossing of layers.
During stocking out components of the longest stocking time must be
stocked out primarily in order to maintain their warranty and lifespan.
